HLDS Linux Distro

Hi all!

Im planning to launch a standalone linux distro for HLDS server. Many folks around the world struggles to install and maintain the Half Life, Counter Strike, Day of Defeat etc and Counter Strike Source servers on linux, and most of them are doing a great job…

Now what im thinking is making a complete distro which already includes the binaries of hl and hl2 with the ‘famous’ cstrike module pre-installed! With proper configured AMX Mod X and admin mod and other amx mods. Ranking is a must, tracking with geo-location is a plus… A pretty web configuration admin menu to configure and maintain server. A database driven server to log all the users and admins activity and ranking ofcourse! 

Now there is a great debate on what linux distro should be used to install game servers… Here is what im planning to use as all opensource tools for making this possible:

• Ubuntu 12.04 LTS Server
• Half Life Engine from Steam
• Half Life 2 Engine From Steam
• CStrike Module for hl
• CS:Source for hl2
• AMX Mod X 1.8.2 stable
• Psycho Stats stable
• PHP 5
• Apache
• MySQL 5.5
• Perl
• OpenSSH Server
• WordPress (for frontend website)
• Webmin (for maintaining the server)
• And need other recommendations…

Now for this project i need some help from:

• Gamers
• Developers
• Linux Programmers
• Linux Server Admins
• Perl Developers
• Or any other person interested to contribute to this project

In a few days i will setup a website and forums as well… so all can communicate and develop in a single workshop But for that we need to buy a domain! N now the most hardest part. We need a name for our new distro, so i need suggestions… These are the name i came up with (need feedback)
